Pharmacist and business owner Monica Zatarski grew up in the pharmacy business-her father is the pharmacist and owner of Ye Olde Pharmacy in Glendale. Zatarski founded MD Custom Rx last November as a compounding-only pharmacy. "I fell in love with the art and science behind custom prescription compounding. I work very closely with physicians and patients to solve medication problems. MD Custom Rx boasts a state of the art compounding laboratory which includes a certified clean room for sterile preparations," she says.

Zatarski enjoys the problem solving aspect of her work. She offers physicians and patients therapy alternatives when conventional medicine is not working. Challenges that she addresses daily involve pain therapies, hormone balancing, nausea control, urology problems, and veterinary issues to name a few.
